The Madera Golf Course concludes its third session of a Junior Golf Clinic today. However, it's just the first of several events planned for the Madera Golf Course.

Free fit weekend

The Madera golf course will hold a free fit weekend at the pro shop from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Included is a free five-minute lesson from one of three golf professionals on hand. The Free Fit Weekend is aimed at first-time or fairly-new golfers who need to find out what is in their best interest. The instructors will be looking at grip, clubs and swing during the lesson.
