The Madera American Little League 11-year-old All-Stars advanced to the Area 1 championship game on the backs on four straight games of scoring 10-plus runs.
However, Madera was silenced Friday night in the Area championship game against River Park and were eliminated from the District 10 tournament, 18-0.
Madera forced a deciding game with a 13-8 victory Thursday night against River Park. The win gave both teams one loss in the double-elimination tournament. River Park gave Madera its first loss in the first game of the tournament.

For the fourth game in four days, the Madera American 11-year-old All-Stars scored more than 10 runs in a game for a 13-8 victory over River park to avenge Madera's first loss of the District 10 tournament.
