The Madera South Stallions girls soccer team walked away with a tie after going scoreless through regulation and two overtime periods Wednesday night against the Fresno Roosevelt Rough Riders.
After a scoreless first half, the Stallions controlled the ball much of the second half but could never punch one in for the win.
After 80 minutes of regulation, the teams played two 10-minute overtime periods with neither team able to break through for the win.
"We couldn't trap the ball and we had no power behind our shots," Madera South head coach Gene West said. "We tried a bunch of different formations, nothing seem to work tonight."
