Jerry Lewis' son coming to Madera MDA fund-raiser
Thursday, July 29, 2010
By For The Madera Tribune
Anthony Lewis, son of comedian Jerry Lewis, will make an appearance at Riley's Tavern in Madera on Saturday to support Karaoke For A Cure, an ongoing fund-raiser for the Justin Woods Foundation.
Although the karaoke event is held each Saturday at 1750 N. Gateway Drive in Madera to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, this will be Lewis' first visit.
Lewis' father is the national chairman for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. As a volunteer, he has spearheaded fund-raising telethons annually since the 1950s.
His son Anthony helps in less obvious ways, said his friend, Ralph Hunter of Madera.
