The Cruise Car Show, held twice a month by the Madera Classic Cars club, will continue through Sept. 24 in the Walgreen's parking lot by the Madera District Fairgrounds, according to organizers.
"We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the old cars and great music," said club member Cindy Diaz. "This is something for Madera car lovers to do that is good clean family fun."
The car shows are open to the public every second and fourth Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. There is a variety of music, a hot dog stand, raffle and spectator judging.
During Friday's event, organizer Dewayne "Catfish" Bass was recognized for celebrating his 70th birthday earlier in the week. He was presented a cake and a photo board to be signed by family and friends.
