Wine, food, music and friends. That's how San Joaquin Wine Co. plans to celebrate the release of its 2007 Zinfandel at a Grape Stompin' Release Party.
Members of the company's wine club are invited to a free party featuring food, wine and a live band beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday. Tickets to the public event for non-members are $25.
"We are having a bruschetta bar, chicken, beef, fruits, cheeses and desserts, catered by Simply Delicious," said Cindy Schafer. She and her husband Steve operate the winery. Their product lines include Moody Press and Green Eyes.
Wine club membership is $147 a year and includes three shipments of four bottles of wine, invitations to events and a discount on any additional wine purchased.
