Sarah Bassett married Pete Rodriguez on June 24, 2010, at Emerald Bay, South Lake Tahoe.

The daughter of Terry Bassett of Chowchilla and Chuck Bassett of Rathdrum, Idaho, is a graduate of Chowchilla Union High School and works as a bartender at Cool Hand Luke's in Madera.

The bridegroom is the son of Socorro and Guadalupe Rodriguez of Chowchilla, a graduate of CUHS and works as a firefighter and paramedic.

The couple met 10 years ago when he worked on her Volkswagen. They have been together for four years and have a 2-year-old daughter, Trinity Rodriguez. They are making their home in Chowchilla.
